Liam Hemsworth is newly-single and ready to mingle.

According to an Us Weekly source, the Hunger Games alum is looking forward to finding that special someone as he and Miley Cyrus go through with dissolving their marriage. On Wednesday (October 9), an insider told the publication that, while Hemsworth “hasn’t been dating anyone," he’s "open to meeting new people.”

If you didn’t know, the 29-year-old filed for divorce from Cyrus in August, citing "irreconcilable differences." The decision came weeks after the Australian actor and the “Malibu” singer announced their separation amid reports that she and Kaitlynn Carter had become an item after pictures surfaced of them locking lips in Italy.

In the days that followed, Hemsworth eventually broke his silence about the split on Instagram, writing: "Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”

Although Hemsworth has been biding his time on dating again, Cyrus has rebounded quite a few times, the first being a short-lived fling with Carter that ended last month. It's since been gossiped that she's moved on with singer Cody Simpson after the stars were caught kissing out in public last week. Albeit unconfirmed, Cyrus and Simpson kept romance rumors this week after he paid a somewhat romantic visit to his "girlfriend" at the hospital.

As one might expect, Hemsworth’s choice to end his marriage has taken its toll on him, as an inside source previously revealed the entertainer had anticipated starting a family with his estranged wife. “Liam is still hurt that he is divorcing Miley," a source told HollywoodLife. "He is not looking for another girlfriend or partner,” a source told the celebrity outlet exclusively."
