Mötley Crüe is back and that "cessation of touring" contract they've been asked about for the last year has been blown to smithereens.
After news broke Monday morning that rumors about a reunion were true, the band's official social media accounts shared a Machine Gun Kelly-narrated video, titled "Mötley Crüe Is Back!", explaining that the band is determined to perform live again for its "legion" of new fans.
The video concludes with the contract being blown up in an empty office as "Kickstart My Heart" begins to play. You can check it out above or here.
The reunion news comes after years of denials by the band members that they would void the contract and tour again. But after an admission by Nikki Sixx that the band members became friends again while working on the movie and recording new music for its soundtrack, a reunion tour seemed possible.
