March 17 marks a year since Ben Gibbard started his livestream series, "Live From Home." Though the vaccination process is making experts like Dr. Fauci hopeful for live music to return sometime this year, we're not there yet. So how's the Death Cab For Cutie frontman commemorating the milestone? By playing another livestream.

"Excited to announce that Ben will be doing a Live From Home show this Wednesday, March 17 at 4pm PT!" the band wrote in an announcement post on Instagram. "This will mark exactly 1 year since his first livestream show when the pandemic started. Hope you all have been doing well and staying healthy. Come listen to some tunes and bring some questions. The show will be in benefit of @auroracommons (auroracommons.org), a wonderful organization that provides a safe space for people experiencing homelessness in Seattle – please donate if you are able."

Last year's series included special performances including a tribute to Fountains of Wayne singer Adam Schlesinger, who died from COVID-19 complications at the beginning of the pandemic, dedicating a Postal Service song to the actual United States Postal Service, and writing a new song aptly titled "Life in Quarantine."

We're eager to see what Gibbard has in store for the stream on Wednesday. See DCFC's announcement post below.
