Kenny Chesney Pushes Tour Dates Again, Will Return To Milwaukee in 2022

It’ll be another year before Kenny Chesney comes back to Milwaukee.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic canceled the Chillaxification 2020 Tour last year, pushing the April 25, 2020 concert to May 8, 2021, according to WISN.
Now, however, it’s postponed again until sometime in 2022.
Although the 2022 show date has not been announced as of Monday morning (March 22), current tickets will be honored at the rescheduled event, CBS 58 noted.
Chesney issued a statement on social media Monday, updating the “No Shoes Nation” on news of the tour.
Here’s what the statement reads, in part:
“We have waited, and we have hoped… Talked to medical experts, stadium people, local officials across the country. I hate what I’m about to tell you. With all the progress being made around the pandemic, there is still too much unknown. What we’re hearing changes daily… anything is possible…”
“…I have held on all these months, thinking I was going to get to see your faces soon. On bad days, that thought made me smile, gave me patience, inspired me to be my better self. Seeing your faces, though, reminds me of what I said when we postponed last year: I won’t take chances with people I love.”
“…So, here comes reality: We’re moving to 2022… Where I feel better about us all being together safely. I’d rather keep everyone safe (and) know we can rock for years to come.”
