Maren Morris showed off her interviewing skills during her appearance as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The "My Church" singer appeared to feel right at home during the show Monday night (August 16), cracking jokes and delivering a monologue on parenthood, vaccinations, and more — which you can watch below.

"Like most people I've had a stressful year, mostly because when I wear a mask, my name sounds like Karen," she joked. She also spoke about how giving birth in 2020, and having to quarantine, added even more stress to an already challenging year, so much so that "this next hour [hosting] is a vacation for me."

During her first interview, she talked to country music legend and "one of [her] heroes," Willie Nelson. They reminisced about meeting at a party a few years ago before delving into stories about playing poker with Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson. The "On The Road Again" singer even gave Morris some tips about raising kids while on tour.

Morris also gave her own suggestions to Nelson for his cannabis business, Willie's Reserve, throwing her name in for a future collaboration. The topic seems to be a passion of hers, as earlier in the show she gave a performance about marijuana laws across the country, singing, "Blaze across the U.S.A., let's light it up legally. From the purple hazy mountains, from sea to THC."
