Country music is about so much more than banjos and fiddles. The songs that dominate country music charts are about the relatable stories, like growing up in poverty, the death of a loved one, your favorite dog, or your cheating significant other.

Some cities are much more suitable for country music fans than others. But which were the best? LawnStarter wanted to find that out.

The website ranked the 180 largest cities to determine which were best suited for country music fans. To do so, LawnStarter used information such as the number of country radio stations in each city, concerts, performance venues, and local fandom based on Google search trends.

According to LawnStarter, one Utah city ranked in the top 10. Salt Lake City placed fourth overall. It was third overall for "performance access" having the third most country music concerts and events per 100,000 residents.

According to the list, here are the top 10 cities in the US for country music fans:

  1. Nashville, TN
  2. Las Vegas, NV
  3. St. Louis, MO
  4. Salt Lake City, UT
  5. Grand Rapids, MI
  6. Knoxville, TN
  7. Tulsa, OK
  8. Birmingham, AL
  9. Atlanta, GA
