Kacey Musgraves delivered a performance of one of her newest songs on Saturday Night Live — with nothing but her guitar and a pair of cowboy boots.

Actor Owen Wilson, who hosted the show, introduced Musgraves on Saturday Night Live this weekend (October 2). She performed “justified” in only her boots, and returned to the stage in jeans and a plaid shirt for her rendition of “camera roll.” Both songs are from her latest, highly-anticipated album.

Musgraves, 33, released Star-Crossed on September 10. It’s her latest project since Golden Hour in 2018. “My last album is what people know me for. They see me as this starry-eyed, rose-colored glasses kinda girl; the Golden Hour girl,” she previously said. “Well, here I come with a post-divorce album, bursting the f*king bubble.” Still, even though the new 15-track collection details some significant life changes for Musgraves, the country artist recently explained why it’s so much more than “a post-divorce” album following her 2020 split from Ruston Kelly. Shortly before debuting her latest album, Musgraves announced her 15-city arena tour with King Princess and MUNA, slated to kick off in January. See the dates here.
