Madonna Seemingly Comes Out As Gay On TikTok

Madonna may have come out as gay. The pop icon and outspoken LGBTQ+ rights advocate had the internet talking on Sunday night (October 9th) as she posted a TikTok that suggests she's gay. The short video shows the star throwing hot pink panties into a trash bin with a caption that explains, "If I miss, I'm Gay!"

After a weak attempt at throwing the panties into the bin, Madonna misses. The camera cuts back to her shrugging and walking away. Fans immediately took to the comments to ponder if the random TikTok served as Madonna's official coming out. "Did I just witness Madonna coming out, good for her," one fan wrote. "Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes," another fan claimed in a comment.

That last commenter may be right. While Madonna has never officially come out as any specific sexual identity, there was a time she sparked rumors by appearing on Late Night with David Letterman with openly queer comedian Sandra Bernhard. The two wore matching outfits during their raucous interview and mentioned hanging out at Cubbyhole, a longtime lesbian bar in New York City. And of course, there's also her infamous kisses with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

More recently, Madonna made headlines for kissing Dominican rapper Tokischa on stage during their performance at NYC Pride in June.

According to TMZ, Madonna has publicly dated celebrities like Dennis Rodman, Tupac, Michael Jackson, and Vanilla Ice. She also married Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 and Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008.
