BTS' Jin is still keeping his performance skills sharp despite currently fulfilling his mandatory South Korean military service. According to Allkpop, the boy band sensation took home first place at the military talent show recently. It's reported that Jin's team wowed at a talent show celebrating Seollal, Korean New Year, and the BTS member even personally taught dance moves to his teammates. The winners of the talent show reportedly received an extra day of vacation as a reward.

Jin recently completed his five weeks of basic training at the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center. He attended his completion ceremony on January 18th. Shortly before that, fans were treated to a video update from Jin that was filmed before he left for the boot camp in December. “I won’t be a civilian by the time the video is out. But I am here in front of the camera because I wanted to leave you something, even if it is just leaving a message,” he said in the video translated to English on YouTube. "Currently I'm shooting for Running Man and whenever I am available I wish to leave these videos and records once every few months to share with you as much as possible, even if it’s just checking in briefly."

The k-pop star continued, "I may not be by your side at this very moment, but I’ll go looking for you soon, so if you just wait a little bit. I’ll be back soon." Once Jin and the rest of the band fulfill their military service, BTS will reunite as a full group in 2025. In February, their concert film BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas will hit theaters around the globe.
