Jason Aldean is set to take the stage at the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE fundraiser show on Wednesday night (May 10), ahead of the highly-anticipated 58th annual ACM Awards. Aldean, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Decade and 2023 ACM Awards nominee, joins an all-star lineup of HARDY, Lainey Wilson, ERNEST, and Bailey Zimmerman.

The “Trouble With A Heartbreak” artist’s addition to the lineup was announced on Tuesday evening (May 9), hours after Morgan Wallen, who was originally announced as the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE headliner, had to drop out because of vocal issues. Wallen explained in a video on his social media channels on Tuesday that he’d injured his vocal cords and, per his doctor’s advice, would take six weeks of vocal rest. That meant having to cancel or reschedule upcoming performances in that time frame, including the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE show, Morgan Wallen & Friends — which sold out within a matter of hours — and the ACM Awards on Thursday night (May 11). Wallen said of the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE show: “…y’all make sure you still go. It’s for a great cause.”

Aldean's addition to the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE lineup comes shortly after he released “Tough Crowd,” a tribute to his fans that made its debut as the country superstar works on his next studio album. Aldean is up for Entertainer of the Year again at this year’s ACM Awards, and is also slated to take the stage alongside a star-studded list of artists. Some performers include Carly Pearce, Trisha Yearwood, Jo Dee Messina, Cole Swindell, Ashley McBryde, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson and many more. Dolly Parton, who is hosting the show with Garth Brooks, will debut the lead single from her forthcoming rock album.

The 58th ACM Awards will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. It’s set for Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/5 p.m. PT.
