Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian may be mega famous celebrities with successful business ventures, but they are also sisters and as such will take the chance when presented to make fun of each other. That's exactly what Kourtney did during a recent family vacation.

The Kardashian sisters — Kourtney, Kim and Khloé — are vacationing in Turks and Caicos, soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal clear waters, per Page Six. The Lemme founder shared some sunny snaps from their trip on Instagram Sunday (April 7), featuring her in a black bikini and swimming in the turquoise water, but it was her caption that really had people talking.

"My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it's gone," she captioned the sunny pics.

Any longtime Kardashian fan, or anyone who was on social media in the early 2010s, could tell you that Kourtney was poking fun at her sister's iconic viral meltdown from a 2011 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in which Kim broke down in tears after losing a $75,000 diamond earring when her then-boyfriend Kris Humphries tossed her into the ocean.

Even their mom, Kris Jenner, had to get in on the fun, popping into the comments to add, "Kourtney there are people that are dying," which is of course the deadpan response from Kourtney in Kim's original breakdown.

Kourtney, who welcomed her first child with husband Travis Barker in November 2023, also shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram Stories to all the "new mommies" concerned about the postpartum pressure to have their body to "bounce back" after giving birth.

"Your body is beautiful at all stages," she wrote. "During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting. And if you're breastfeeding, that's a whole other part of it."

She continued, "I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn't realistic. Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too;) XOXO."
