Dr. Carmen McNeil-Clinkscales uses a unique approach to not only nurture girls who love and respect themselves, but to also strengthen mother-daughter and father-daughter connections.
As a facilitator, educator, and Period of Empowerment™ Guide, she dismantles the miseducation of menstruation one community at a time. With her Ph.D. in Psychology and expertise in mental wellness and social behavior, she pours her 20+ years of teaching and training into her signature programs including: Power to the Period, Rock with Your Menstrual Rhythm, and Dads Puberty Playbook.
Dr. Carmen, a graduate of the California Black Women’s Health Project Advocacy Training Program, is the former host of the popular internet radio talk show Spiritually Juicy – The Key Ingredient to Self-Care, and has been a featured speaker for conferences, womenʼs organizations, and educational institutions.
Her vision is to create a global community of girls, teens, and women who are flowing forward, claiming their voice, and moving through the world with their heads held high. In addition, she aims to create a global community of devoted fathers who know how to use their special “dad mojo” to positively impact their developing daughters’ self-esteem via courageous connecting conversations.
Dr. Carmen is praised most for her unique ability to put people at ease so they can relax enough to receive the support they need.
