Unrelating is an all new podcast that explores relationships, why we do what we do, and what causes people to "un-relate". Join Kelly & Michelle as they talk to real people about the relationship challenges they face and provide an expert to help them sort it all out. Unrelating is hosted by show producer Kelly Beck and relationship expert Michelle Schafer. Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing individual and couple’s therapy for two decades. Michelle has her Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine. Through her practice, she has seen patterns and themes that connect us as people. Her scientific background will help us learn about the brain mechanisms that influence our behavior. And her psychology background will help us figure out if we should continue in the relationships we’re in!
