Justin Bieber might be enlisting Chance the Rapper for his latest single!
The singer-songwriter’s new song, titled “Holy,” could come with a few hot rhymes from the Chicago lyricist. The Canadian crooner seemed to tease as much on Monday (September 14) when he retweeted one of Chance’s posts from yesterday, which fans speculated was a lyric from the song.
“I know he made you a snack like Oscar Proud," Chance tweeted, referring to a character from the Disney Channel show, The Proud Family.
While the promotional banner for “Holy” doesn’t indicate any features on the song, Beliebers are convinced Chance will feature on the new joint.
One fan tweeted, “CHANCE X JB6? YES PLEASE.”
“HOLY FT CHANCE AM I RIGHT?!?!” another user added. “THESE ARE HOLY LYRICS YOU CANT TELL ME IM WRONG.”
Set to premiere this Friday (September 18), the potential collaboration will mark yet another team-up for the longtime music partners, considering the rumors are true. As fans will recall, the artists have linked up on several tracks over the years, including 2013’s “Confident,” 2016’s “Juke Jam,” 2017’s “I’m the One,” and last year's DJ Khaled jam, “No Brainer.”
The new song announcement comes eight months after Bieber put out his fifth studio album, Changes, which secured the soloist’s seventh No. 1 record on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album generated several singles, including “Yummy,” “Intentions,” and “Forever.”
Months after dropping the album, Bieber joined forces with Ariana Grande on their duet “Stuck with U,” which debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, scoring the Biebs’ sixth US number-one single.
