It looks like Hayley Williams is starting 2021 in the most productive way!
Williams may have just released her solo debut, Petals For Armor, less than a year ago, but it seems like she's already working on album number two!
On Tuesday (January 5), Williams took to Instagram to post a short clip playing the drums and it immediately caught the attention of fans. While she is wearing headphones and fans are unable to hear any other music, it looks like she's practicing — or recording — something new.
That in and of itself was enough to get fans hyped for something but, in the next slide, she quickly says “we don't need drums if this is going to be my folklore.”
Folklore, of course, refers to Taylor Swift's surprise quarantine-made eighth studio album which is piano and guitar-heavy.
While she didn't give us anything else (because of course not), it seems pretty plausible that her comment was a huge hint that she's writing and recording new solo music amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“WHAT ARE YOU HINTING STOPPSJDJD,” one fan commented on her Instagram while others are convinced she's actually writing Paramore's next album, “Is this related to 6more? 👀” another fan asked.
The “Simmer” singer recently took to Twitter to dispel the ongoing rumors of her band breaking up and has previously mentioned she along with Taylor York and Zac Farro have been busy getting inspired for Paramore's sixth album.
