Motley Crue's farewell tour 'The Final Tour'

Five years after saying what it thought would be its final goodbye, Mötley Crüe is reuniting for a 2020 co-headlining stadium tour of North America with Def Leppard, featuring additional support by Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

The initial leg of 'The Stadium Tour' includes 22 concerts, from July 7 in Miami, Florida, to September 5 in Los Angeles, California — where Mötley Crüe played the last show of its 'Final Tour' on New Year's Eve 2015.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Citi is the official pre-sale credit card for the tour, so Citi cardmembers have access to pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, December 10, at 10 a.m. to Thursday, December 12, at 10 p.m.

After downplaying reunion rumors for over a year, Crüe confirmed that it was blowing up its "cessation of touring contract" to resurrect its legendary live show for a new generation of fans.

Mötley Crüe has enjoyed an explosion in popularity since the release of its band biopic, The Dirt, to Netflix last March. In a press release, Live Nation touted the band's "meteoric 350% increase" in streams of Crüe's music across all platforms.

'The Stadium Tour' will also find Crüe celebrating three decades since the release of its multi-platinum Dr. Feelgood album. For tickets and more details, go here.
