Billie Joe Armstrong decided to do something a little different for the third installment of his "No Fun Mondays" quarantine series this week and recruited a member of the band he was covering to help perform the song. The Green Day frontman performed The Bangles' "Manic Monday" with none other than the band's singer/guitarist Susanna Hoffs. While Armstrong sits on his couch with his dog Lenny curled up next to him, Hoffs is shown bouncing around her room playing the electric guitar.

Armstrong unveiled his first cover, a timely rendition of Tommy James & The Shondells' 1967 hit "I Think I'm Alone Now," a couple weeks ago. "I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together," he said at the time. That was followed by a cover of Johnny Thunders' 1978 track "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory" last week. Watch him and Hoffs cover "Manic Monday" below.

Armstrong was one of many artists to partake in the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert For America telecast on March 29, where he treated viewers to an acoustic performance of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" from his home in West Contra Costra. He will also be a part of the star-studded "One World: Together At Home" livestream on April 18.

Last month, Green Day were forced to postpone their Asian tour in support of their new album Father of All...while the coronavirus wreaked havoc on the region; however, they're still planning to head out on the Hella Mega tour in North America with Fall Out Boy and Weezer this summer.
