To celebrate the end of 2021, we went down memory lane to find the most bizarre and most viewed stories that came out of California this year.

We started off the year with a bit of a moral conundrum when a California mother's three sons were expelled from their catholic school after it was discovered their parents ran an OnlyFans account together.

Stranger stories like a naked woman crashing a Maserati SUV straight into a pole at a used car lot, or a young intern using his $150 annual Six Flags Magic Moutain pass to help pay off his student loans were actually tame in comparison to the more supernatural stories that came out in the latter half of the year.

Children in the mountains seeing the ghost of a real missing woman that prompted a police investigation, a green laser shooting down from the sky and scanning towns, and how could we forget all of the bizarre deep-sea fish that have suddenly been popping up on San Diego and San Francisco beaches.

Here are just a handful of the weirdest California stories that went viral in 2021. See you in 2022!
