Drake stunned the world by releasing his surprise album. In addition to dropping his unique LP, the OVO Sound founder also dropped a new music video and pulled at the heartstrings of fans who miss the late Virgil Abloh as much as he does.

On Friday, June 17, Drake released his seventh studio album HONESTLY, NEVERMIND. The electronic/afrobeats-inspired album (which is executively produced by the rapper, Noah "40" Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and Black Coffee) has 14 tracks with assistance from 21 Savage and producers Tay Keith, Cubeatz and Vinylz on the closing track "Jimmy Cooks." Upon delivering the album, Drake included a touching dedication to his friend Virgil in a lengthy message in the album's description.

"I let my humbleness turn to numbness at times letting time go by knowing I got the endurance to catch it another time," Drake wrote at the beginning of his statement. "I work with every breath in my body cause it’s the work not air that makes me feel alive. That’s some real detrimental s**t but that’s that s**t my perfectionist mind doesn’t really mind because no one knows whats on my mind when I go to sleep at 9 & wake up at 5 – unless I say it in rhyme."

Drake concludes the extensive statement by highlighting that it's "DEDICATED TO OUR BROTHER V." Virgil Abloh passed last year after losing his private battle with cancer. His death impacted not just the fashion world but the Hip-hop community as well. Drake issued a heartfelt tribute to Abloh and even got a tattoo of him.

"My plan is to touch the sky 1000 more times for you… love you eternally brother 🕊thank you for everything," Drake said in an Instagram post after Abloh's death.

Along with the album, Drake also dropped the video for track No. 2 on the album, "Falling Back." The nearly 10-minute video features a cameo from Tristan Thompson and others as he prepares to get hitched to a group of gorgeous brides.
