Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated album Midnights has officially arrived and fans were excited to see that the singer-songwriter kept her word on delivering those "special very chaotic surprises."

To kick off the release day, Swift made a special announcement during the 3rd quarter of Thursday Night Football. During the game, they showed a teaser trailer that revealed Midnights is basically a visual album. "Here’s the teaser trailer for the videos I’ve made for Midnights," she wrote on Twitter just hours before the album was due to drop. The credits also revealed that actress Laura Dern and the HAIM sisters will make appearances in the music videos.

At midnight sharp on Friday, October 21st, Midnights finally arrived. Dedicated Swifties and curious music lovers showed up right on time to check out the 13 new tracks and actually crashed a music streaming service in the process, according to TMZ.

As if that wasn't enough chaos for the early morning, at 3:00 A.M., Swift revealed that the "special very chaotic surprise" she hinted at was 7 completely new songs. She took to Twitter to make the exciting announcement:

"Surprise! I think of Midnights as a complete concept album, with those 13 songs forming a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour. However! There were other songs we wrote on our journey to find that magic 13. I’m calling them 3am tracks. Lately I’ve been loving the feeling of sharing more of our creative process with you, like we do with From The Vault tracks. So it’s 3am and I’m giving them to you now."

The Midnights (3am Edition) includes the following songs:

14 - The Great War

15 - Bigger Than The Whole Sky

16 - Paris

17 - High Infidelity

18 - Glitch

19 - Would've, Could've, Should've

20 - Dear Reader

Still to come for the Midnights release week are lyric videos, two music video premieres including one for the already-fan-favorite "Anti-Hero," appearances on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and The Graham Norton Show in the UK, as well as more information on how she'll roll out all of the music videos.
