Selena Gomez Addresses Rumors Of Feud With Hailey Bieber

Selena Gomez is shutting down rumors of a feud between her and Hailey Bieber.

The pair made waves last month when they posed together for photos for the first time, seemingly shutting down the notion of bad blood between them after years of fans speculated of tension between the Rare Beauty founder and the model, who is married to Gomez' ex Justin Bieber. Both stars were attending the 2022 Academy Museum Gala on October 15 when photographer Tyrell Hampton snapped a pic of the women huddled together and striking a pose for the camera.

In a new interview with Vulture, Gomez addressed the photos and how it looked like the pair were putting the rumors behind them.

"Yeah, it's not a big deal," Gomez said. "It's not even a thing."

Some fans have speculated of a possible feud between Selena and Hailey, accusing the latter of "stealing" the "Peaches" singer from Gomez after the former couple called it quits for good. The 25-year-old model shut down those rumors in a recent tell-all interview, saying it's "not [her] character to mess with someone's relationship."

When Gomez and Bieber both found themselves at the gala, they agreed to take a couple photos together to further clear up the rumors, a source close to Gomez told E! News.

They wanted to show that there's really no hate between them and that they are both in a good place," the source said. "It was a moment and an opportunity to put all of the noise behind them and they took it."
