You guys, this is not a drill: My Chemical Romance is back. And what better day to announce their return than Halloween? IT'S ALL SO PERFECT!
On Thursday (October 31) the band casually tweeted out information for a show taking place on December 20 at the Shrine Expo Hall In Los Angeles. It'll mark their first performance together since 2012.
The members — Mikey and Gerard Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro — also announced the news via their personal social media accounts, simply writing "California 2019" alongside the same gothic photo they tweeted.
Tickets go on sale at 12pm PST Friday (November 1). Get more ticket info here, and check out the tweet below.

Fans have been speculating (or at least hoping) for a reunion for a while now. In August, the band launched a new merch line that very well may have been the beginning of this new chapter. The members threw us off the scent though. Back in February, Gerard flat out crushed our dreams when he said "I miss playing with the guys, but I don’t think so" after being asked about a possible reunion. Iero got our hopes up again in July, when he didn't explicitly deny a reunion by saying "I survived a bus accident, so anything is possible." But what we're really curious about is Joe Jonas' claim that MCR was rehearsing next to the Jonas Brothers earlier this year. Iero ruthlessly slammed the pop star for his comments, but could they have been true all along?
