Alex Rodriguez Speaks On 'Life After Jennifer Lopez' Relationship

MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez has opened up about his life after parting ways with Jennifer Lopez. During his recent appearance on iHeartRadio's The Martha Stewart Podcast, Arod opened up about the relationship after host Martha Stewart put him on the spot. After mentioning his history of dating "really fabulous women," Stewart of course brought up his highly-publicized relationship with the 2022 iHeartRadio Icon.

"Here's what I'll tell you about Jennifer," started Rodriguez. "She's the most talented human I've ever been around. Hardest worker and I think she is the greatest performer, live performer, in the world today, that's alive." A-rod also mentioned that the couple had a great time during their four years together and always put their families first. "Look, we had a great time," said the 46-year-old. "But, more importantly, we always put the kids front and center in everything we do."

When asked how "life after JLo" is, he answered, "You know Martha, thank goodness, no regrets. Life is good. I'm very fortunate. I wake up every morning and thank the good Lord for my health, for my beautiful daughters, who are now 17 and 14. That is my number one focus in life."

A-Rod and Lopez first started dating back in 2017 and combined their families. By 2019 they were engaged but called it off and ended the relationship in 2021. Since then, Lopez has rekindled her past relationship with actor Ben Affleck. The couple became engaged for the second time in April. In addition to his romantic life, Rodriguez also discussed his daily life, new business ventures, and his "greatest thrill" at Yankee Stadium. Listen to the full podcast below.
