Kanye West is vowing to go silent. Verbally, that is. And it won't be for forever, either.

The "Bound 2" rapper announced he was going on a 30-day "cleanse" on Twitter on Thursday (November 3). He then listed exactly what that would entail: "a verbal fast, no alcohol, no adult films, no intercourse." Ye also made it a point to state that he's "not talking to nooobody for a month" in the post.

His social media activity, however, isn't going away. "But my Twitter still lit," he wrote. Since he announced his "cleanse" Thursday evening, he's gone on another one of his rants, this time about how he was "mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well behaved celebrity."

News of Kanye's break from alcohol, sex and porn comes amid a string of controversy surrounding the rapper. Adidas, Balenciaga, GAP and JPMorgan Chase Bank are among the big companies who no longer wish to work with Ye after his anti-Semitic tirade. The dissolution of these partnerships has stripped Kanye of his billionaire status after losing his $1.5 billion deal with Adidas. He also showed up at Skechers HQ "uninvited" and was turned away. In more recent news, it was made public that Ye reportedly wanted to name his 2018 solo album after Adolf Hitler.
