2023 was another great year for pop music fans! Superstars like Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, and Kesha all released new albums, and we also got two re-recorded Taylor Swift albums including Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version).

Although there was more than enough new music to go around, this year was also defined by the artists that didn't release music. Fans spent 2023 holding out hope for new album announcements from the likes of Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, and Ariana Grande. Even Jennifer Lopez announced her album This Is Me... Now in 2022 but kept fans waiting until the end of this year to share a release date.

As we look forward to 2024, many of these artists have confirmed their new albums will be arriving in the foreseeable future. From Kanye West to Sia, and even a debut studio album from actress Kate Hudson, these are the most anticipated 2024 album releases in popular music.
